The American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography exam (ARDMS exam) is a registry that involves three separate tests to achieve certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ultrasound technologist).

The ARDMS exam or ARDMS exams are taken usually after complete a one to two year program in ultrasound. The ARDMS exam or ARDMS exams requires verification of the completion of the course and proof that the course was passed.
